Kaohsiung and Taipei, 6th - 14th August 2014

This is probably my 4th or 5th time flying to Taiwan. The last time was only in January to join Juste Debout Taiwan. This time round, I wanted to visit Kaohsiung as I haven't done so since 2011. Hence I decided to go Kaohsiung for a few days to visit some old friends and to join South Side Session 7. This was some photos taken at South Side Session 7.  Thank you Smile from KFC (Kaohsiung Funky Crew) and Yu-Chin Mike for the awesome pictures! Since I was already there, I've decided to join the Waacking category on top of Locking. I honestly never practice much on my waacking. So I didn't know how I was supposed to feel when I managed to battle my way to the Semifinals (Top 4). For locking, I only got to the Top 38 auditions. Actually I should be proud of myself because there were 100+++ auditionees for each category. And at least I got to experience battling in quite a big and well-known event in Taiwan. Even though it was through waacking.

Avenue of Stars at Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

Visited Avenue of Stars at Tsim Sha Tsui while I was in Hong Kong last December. Let the pictures do the talking!   Oh, if you are in Hong Kong during the cold season, be sure to wear lots and lots of clothings. Especially if you were to visit Avenue of Stars, which is right by the river. It can get very chilly and windy!!!! I didn't thought that it would be so cold. So I only wore a tshirt and a jacket, with leggings. I was seriously freezing! Luckily my Hong Kong friend was there to block me from the cold wind. XD

Gyeongbokgung(경복궁), Seoul

When I was in Seoul, my friend Geunzi brought me to visit a royal palace! Gyeongbokgung , is the main and largest palace of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the Joseon Dynasty. Gyeongbokgung , translated in English, means " Palace of Shining Happiness ."   Directions: Take the subway to Gyeongbokgung Station and take Exit #5 .   The admission ticket is very cheap! If I remember correctly, I only paid 3000won! :D And you can spend 2-3hours walking around the palace. It's super duper huuuugeeeee~   There are also guided tours but that is a separate fee.       This is the Hyangwonjeong Pavilion ! It means, the "Pavilion of Far-Reaching Fragrance". It is just a small, 2-story hexagonal pavilion. The pavilion was constructed on an artificial island of a lake named Hyangwonji. A bridge named Chwihyanggyo connects it to the palace grounds.     There are seriously so many different bu
